The Kiltwalk is back!

One hundred and thirty-four individuals will be taking part in Glasgow’s Kiltwalk on Sunday 28 April to raise vital funds for The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice. This is among the highest number of individuals taking part in the popular walk on behalf of the hospice. The sponsored walk offers participants a choice of distances between 3 miles and 23 miles and is Scotland’s largest mass participation walking event with over 145,000 people taking part since 2016.

As a charity the hospice has to fundraise approximately £3million annually in order to continue providing its gold standard compassionate care to 1,200 new patients and their families every year. It costs £11,760 a day to run our inpatient unit where we care for people with terminal conditions and who are at the end of their lives.

The Kiltwalk fundraising is absolutely vital in helping the hospice reach its fundraising target and we are very grateful to each individual for their efforts and support.
