Argyll

Our Dunoon Christmas Lights switch on event was on Saturday the 25th of November, a busy, happy event boosted by the great weather and we now look forward to the local Christmas market in the Argyll Gardens on Saturday the 2nd Of December


and songs and carols at Dunoon Burgh Hall on the 1st of December to get us in the Christmas spirit!


Glasgow

Residents in the Cardonald area have been left delighted by a new mural dedicated to a history making pilot. The painting, located on Paisley Road West, shows pioneer Winifred Joyce 'Winnie' Drinkwater, who was the first female to pilot a commercial plane in 1932 and at one time lived in the area -
