Celebrating our Twentieth Birthday with a Community Promise

Celebrating our Twentieth Birthday with a Community Promise

It's not every day that we hit a milestone like 20 years in business, and at Scottish Property Centre, we're taking a moment to both look-back and plan ahead.

We started in 2004, with Paul and Julie Burns opening in Cardonald and Gregor Cope and Craig Smith in Shawlands. The Argyll branch in Dunoon was then opened in 2014. We’ve always been focused on top-notch customer service and being a good neighbour in our communities.

This year, we're celebrating our 20th anniversary a bit differently. Instead of just throwing a big party (though we're not opposed to a bit of fun!), we're promising to support the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice throughout 2024.

This place does wonders for individuals and families facing desperately tough times, providing care and support when it's needed most.

Our first-off event is on the 1st of March at the Orchard Park Hotel in Giffnock. It's set to be a gathering of our team, professional contacts, clients, and friends, with a raffle and other activities to raise some funds for the hospice.

It's the first of many events, including a golf day in August and a thrilling zip slide over the River Clyde in September. It's all about having fun while doing our bit for a cause close to our hearts.

Craig Smith, one of our co-directors, put it nicely: "The team at the hospice are incredible, providing comfort when families need it the most. We're just grateful we can support them in any way."

This initiative is a big part of our 20th-anniversary celebrations, reflecting our belief in giving back to the community that's supported us over the years.

Looking back, opening our first offices in Cardonald and Shawlands was just the start. Celebrating 20 years is about more than just our success; it's about thanking those who've been part of our journey and giving back to our community.

If you're keen to get involved or want more details about our upcoming events and how to contribute, contact us. Let's make this year memorable for both Scottish Property Centre and the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.

Here's to the past 20 years and many more to come.

Cheers!

Paul, Gregor & Craig
